Bailey Seagraves has been helping develop goalies since 2012 but started coaching full-time in 2017 shortly after he accepted the role as Emergency Backup Goaltender for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. With the rapid growth, Seagraves Goaltending was officially founded in 2019! 

A native of Hilliard, OH, Bailey played his youth hockey in Columbus with the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets. During his time with the AAA Jackets, he earned multiple US National Festival Camp invites, the opportunity to compete for a spot on the USNTDP, and then later drafted by the Chicago Steel in the USHL Futures Draft. He would go on to play his Junior hockey career in the USHL, NAHL & USPHL Premier (now NCDC) before moving on to his role with the Columbus Blue Jackets. 

Bailey has been the goaltending coach for the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets program since 2017, where he has helped develop and advance their goalies to the junior and NCAA levels. He also serves as the director of goaltending development for Battery Hockey Academy. Along with OBJ, Bailey is the goalie coach for the Columbus Mavericks junior team and a variety of central Ohio's top high school programs which under his guidance, have won State Championships and league titles. Bailey served as goalie coach for The Ohio State Women's D1 team from 2021-23. During his tenure there he helped aid the Buckeyes to a WCHA Frozen Faceoff championship, a WCHA regular season title, and the program's first-ever national championship.
