Pre-tryout camp
Let us help you improve your game going into tryout season. We know what it takes to play at these high levels of hockey, and we’re here to help you achieve your goals of playing there. These spots are earned, not given. Time to punch the clock and get to work!
In partnership with CAHA, train with Ohio AAA Blue Jackets Goalie Coach and Owner of Seagraves Goaltending, Bailey Seagraves, and his staff of goalies currently/formerly playing at the AAA, Varsity, Junior, and College Levels. 3 to 1 goalie-to-station ratio allows for instant feedback from our staff and a high volume of reps. High-level, age-appropriate shooters will be paired with your goaltender.
Who is this camp for?
Our camp is available to highly motivated goaltenders of all ages and skill levels. Goalies will be grouped appropriately with other goalies of similar age and skill level.
Camp includes
- Six 90-minute on-ice instruction (9 hours in total)
- 3 to 1 goalie to coach & net ratio
- Tryout management tips and advice
- Goalie-specific skating & edge-work
- Fundamental Saves
- Proper save selection
- Efficiently managing angles/depth
- Read & Reacting to game situations
- Puckhandling
- Competitive battle drills
- Lots of fun!!

Requirements
- Participants must have prior hockey & skating experience
- Goalies must provide their goalie equipment
